The Work / Bridge Assessment
Before we tell you
to go deeper,
we make sure deeper
is worth it.
A focused first look at your Hiring Experience—to decide whether a full Hiring Experience Diagnostic is likely to create meaningful value.
Typically complimentary. Approximately four consulting hours. Scope and terms are agreed before work begins.
Is there enough here to warrant going deeper?
A different first question
Do you actually need
a full Diagnostic?
Maybe. Maybe not. A recurring concern deserves attention—but it does not automatically require a larger engagement. The Bridge helps us decide whether deeper investigation is justified.
Follow the signal
Usually, it starts
with a question.
What question brought you here?
Select a concern to illuminate several areas that might be worth understanding. This interaction does not diagnose your organization.
High level by design
Enough to make a decision.
Room for what we do not know.
Context & people
Discuss the situation, objectives, and high-level stakeholder perspectives.
Process & signals
Review agreed metrics, the recruiting process, and limited ATS or workflow observations where applicable.
A considered recommendation
Bring preliminary observations, relevant benchmark context where appropriate, and limitations into an Executive Readout.
Focused by design
Four consulting hours.
One important decision.
We are not trying to diagnose your entire organization in four hours. We are deciding whether deeper investigation is justified.
Conceptual areas of attention, not time allocations. The target is approximately four consulting hours unless otherwise agreed.
What comes into view?
We look at the context
around the concern.
Select a view. These are public examples of what may be considered—not internal scoring dimensions.
What would deeper understanding help you decide?
The business question, hiring demand, and organizational context give the concern meaning.
- Objectives
- Hiring volume
- Current priorities
Can people describe how hiring is intended to work?
A workflow overview and existing documentation help us understand what is visible today.
- Workflow overview
- Available documentation
- Limited ATS observations
Are people describing the same reality?
High-level stakeholder discussions help clarify different views and the questions they raise.
- Recruiting structure
- Stakeholder accounts
- Participation
What can the information support?
Agreed recruiting metrics and existing Candidate Experience information help inform the first look.
- Operational metrics
- Candidate feedback
- Communication
Could the organization use a deeper answer?
Participation and organizational conditions matter when discussing whether further work would be useful now.
- Available information
- Organizational participation
- Timing
Try changing the view
Make uncertainty
visible.
Different evidence conditions change what we can see—not what we are entitled to assume.
More questions
The evidence and different perspectives affect what can be understood. Explore the conditions to see the illustration change.
Illustration only. No score, probability, qualification, or recommendation is generated. More visible information does not automatically mean a Diagnostic is warranted.
Missing evidence matters too
Messy information
is part of the conversation.
Select an evidence condition. Perfect data is not required.
It may be easier to see what is happening.
Clear records can support a more informed first look. They do not automatically establish that deeper work is needed.
- Existing visibility
- Context still matters
The inconsistencies may be worth understanding.
Different definitions, scattered records, or varying process descriptions can make limits visible. Those limits are part of the discussion.
- Clarify what exists
- Keep uncertainty visible
The next step may be better visibility.
Limited evidence may constrain deeper analysis. Waiting, monitoring, or improving visibility may be more appropriate than beginning a Diagnostic.
- Do not fill gaps with assumptions
- Consider what would help
What information might you ask for?
Examples include hiring volume, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, available Candidate Experience survey information, recruiting structure, a workflow overview, and mutually agreed business metrics.
What if parts of our system are already working well?
That counts too. Clear documentation, strong participation, healthy communication signals, and good visibility may be valid preliminary observations. The Bridge is not designed to manufacture problems.
A deliberate boundary
A first look.
Not a miniature Diagnostic.
You receive preliminary observations and a recommendation about whether deeper work is likely to provide value. Final findings and full diagnostic conclusions belong to a separately agreed Diagnostic.
Three possible outcomes
Cross. Pause.
Or stay where you are.
Proceed
There may be value in going deeper.
The available evidence suggests that a full Hiring Experience Diagnostic is likely to provide meaningful additional value. The organization chooses whether to proceed.
Continue monitoring
Not yet can be the responsible answer.
There may be opportunity, but evidence, readiness, urgency, or organizational conditions do not yet justify deeper work. Watch, learn, gather, and revisit.
No further engagement recommended
Stopping is a valid outcome.
The information available today does not indicate that a full Diagnostic is likely to provide enough additional value. There is no need to manufacture a crossing.
Explore the three possible outcomes. You are choosing a demonstration—not receiving an assessment result.
Trust starts here
Yes. We may tell you
not to hire us.
If the evidence does not support deeper work, we should not recommend deeper work. The Bridge protects both sides from entering an engagement without a clear reason.
What you receive
Enough clarity
to decide what comes next.
Bridge Assessment Summary
Preliminary observations, initial opportunity areas, and the limitations that matter.
Executive Readout
A focused discussion of the first look and the recommendation it supports.
A recommendation
Proceed with a Diagnostic, continue monitoring, or no further engagement recommended.
Where one engagement ends
The Bridge asks whether.
The Diagnostic explores why.
Switch between the two engagements to see the boundary.
Should we investigate further?
A limited, high-level review designed to support a decision about whether deeper work is likely to provide value.
- Preliminary observations
- Proceed / Monitor / Stop
What is happening, why, and what should change?
A deeper evaluation that may produce findings, measurement, Root Cause Analysis, recommendations, and a Roadmap, according to agreed scope.
- Clarity
- Diagnosis
- Direction
No mystery
Here is what happens next.
Select a step to explore the client experience.
Start with what you are noticing.
We learn enough about the situation to understand whether there may be a fit. You do not need a finished explanation.
- Share the question
- Explore potential fit
Agree whether the Bridge makes sense.
If appropriate, we define the limited scope and the information and participation needed.
- A proportionate first step
- Agreed boundaries
Review the agreed context and information.
High-level discussions and evidence help clarify the concern and what remains uncertain.

How is information handled?
We request relevant information for the agreed scope, use anonymized or aggregated information where practical, and protect confidential information under applicable agreements. Personally identifiable candidate information is generally not needed unless specifically agreed.
Does AI decide whether we need a Diagnostic?
No. Approved AI may assist with organization, summarization, analysis support, or drafting. The recommendation remains a human, evidence-informed judgment.
What stays behind the scenes?
You can understand what was considered and why the recommendation follows. Internal scoring, weighting, decision rules, workbooks, and proprietary templates are not public tools.
First, we decide whether to cross
You do not have to know
whether you need a Diagnostic.
That is what the Bridge is for.
Bring the question. We will discuss whether there is enough here to warrant going deeper.
No pressure to proceed. No assumption that deeper work is necessary.
